Chișinău has hundreds of auto services, and quality varies wildly from one shop to another — especially when it comes to premium cars, performance vehicles or complex work like chip tuning. Here are the four criteria we recommend using to choose a service.
Equipment. A serious shop invests in modern diagnostics: brand-specific scanners (BMW ISTA, VAG ODIS, Mercedes XENTRY), an alignment stand, a dyno for power measurements. Without these tools, working on the complex electronics of modern cars turns into guesswork.
Specialization. A generalist who takes on everything is rarely deeply competent at anything. Ask what makes and types of work the shop specializes in. If you have a performance car, look for a service with real tuning experience, not just general repairs.
Transparency. A quality shop provides a written estimate before any work starts, explains every line item, and warns you about budget changes. If the mechanic says "I'll tell you the price later", that's a red flag. At Sevenforce the estimate is approved before the key goes into the ignition.
Warranty. Any serious shop offers a written warranty on parts and labor — typically 6 to 12 months. No "trust me" or "you saw what we did". If something goes wrong, there should be a document showing who is responsible for what.
